Finish Kit has arrived and the construction continues!

Here is what is expected in my kit. I had them delete the canopy and cowling. I have already received my canopy from Todd's Canopies in Florida and it looks great! I plan to order my cowling from James Aircraft also in Florida. I really like the looks of the Holy Cowl and the plenum system for cooling. As soon as I get that, I'll post pictures!

 

*****Update*****

I did order the plenum from James and after waiting almost a year for the promised cowling that would fit my vertical sump engine, I gave up. I sold the plenum and ordered the factory cowling from Vans.

  • Welded canopy frame.
  • Engine mount.
  • Fiberglass spinner with aluminum mounting plates.
  • Fiberglass landing gear and wheel fairings.
  • New Cleveland 5:00 x 5 wheels and brakes with hardware.
  • All brake lines and hardware.
  • New 5:00 x 5 tires and tubes.
  • Wing root and empennage/fuselage fairings.

    • I've always shown what the kit looked like when it arrived, but this one didn't contain enough to take pictures of with the cowl and canopy missing.
